A Legionary speaks with Crusader

I was talking to Cerelia over MSN in the wee hours of the morning, for a very long time. She had a lot of questions about our faith, so I was more than happy to answer them. I never knew her to be Christian, and to be from Campus Crusade for Christ. I was very, very surprised. Great, I finally managed to converse with one of them.

Due to the sensitive nature of the matter, I will not speak too much of it. For the standing instruction of the Legion of Mary states,

“Fourth, absolute respect for the confidential nature of many matters discussed at the meeting or learned in connection with the legionary work." - Chapter 18, Order of the Praesidium Meeting, Legion of Mary Handbook.

I am happy that I was able to clear some of her doubts about our faith, and to educate her a bit in certain issues. But I think I got a bit carried away, and as a result left a lot of untied ropes. I guess I’ll leave that for another day. Perhaps I have been too critical of Protestants in during my sharing. Perhaps I should have been more charitable in my choice of language. I am sorry if I have ever caused offence to anybody with my words.

In case you all didn’t know, I’m with the Legion of Mary (Mandarin-speaking) of Maris Stella High School, even though I’m not studying there anymore.

Accendat in nobis Dominus ignem sui amoris, et flammam aeterne caritatis. Amen.

May the Lord enkindle in us the fire of His love and the flame of everlasting charity. Amen
