Happy Chinese New Year to all! 9 February 2005 Went visiting today! Mainly my relatives' places. Collected an ample amount of ang baos. Goody. Once again, I comtemplated on my non-existent command of Chinese dialect. Poor me. Finally finished reading George Orwell's 1984. Goodness, it is such a depressing book. If I weren't Catholic, I would have killed myself by jumping off the building. I really felt like doing so, but it would be wrong to do so. George Orwell certainly got the message across! What message? That is, if we do not take action against totalitarian goverments, then the future will be bleak and lacking of any hope. Just like in the book. Angels preserve us! Lol I was reading the newspaper on that day or the day before. It said something about the Communist rebels in the Philippines conducting a gay 'marriage'. Wahahah, Stalin must be rolling non-stop like a roast pig in his grave... The persecutors of homosexuals finally approved of them at last. Then again, it once again only proves how godless Communism is. There is no such thing as gay 'marriage'. What is Marriage? It is a union between MAN and WOMAN. Did you get that? Damn communists! They slaughtered our Christian brothers, both Catholic and Protestant. Then again.... they slaughtered everybody! Mao Zedong and his cronies killed our Legionary comrades in China, and sent them to the concentration camps! They killed our brother priests and sister nuns! Even to this very day! And they even created false churches to mislead and cheat the true believers of Christ, while attempting to destroy the church of the true believers. Pray for the total conversion of China and for a peaceful overthrow of the Communist government in China! Lol, I hope I don't sound like a Communist. 10 February 2005 Went visiting again! This time we went to my parents' friends' places. Went to Joshua's place in the afternoon. I made a profit of $0.80 at the blackjack session. Ha ha ha... Went to Pet's place in the evening. There were a few Legion people there. Robin, Winson, Angela and Selene. It was funny watching them play Sims 2 on the PC. Extremely comical. You ought to try it one day! Robin, Pet, Winson, Angela and I went to Swensen's for ice cream after that. Went to Starbucks for Coffee after that. Winson did not join us. He had school on Friday. Spent a good amount of time chatting. Alamak, today spent so much money. Never mind, I still have ang pao money. Reached home real late. Twelve something. 11 February 2005 Attempted to finish some practical reports. Talked to Cerelia on MSN again. It seemed to be a fruitful conversation. I'll be praying for you, sister. Lol, it's Ash Friday today. But wait a minute? Isn't there supposed to be an Ash Wednesday? There's no such thing as Ash Friday! Yeah, but Ash Wednesday clashes with Chinese New Year. Would you like to have fast and abstinence on Lunar New Year? I say Nay! So the Bishops' Conference of Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei have shifted Ash Wednesday to Friday. That way you could still eat your ba kwa and love letters on Wednesday. Good eh? Hymn: What a friend we have in Jesus
1. What a friend we have in Jesus,
	all our sins and griefs to bear!
	What a privilege to carry
	everything to God in prayer!
	O what peace we often forfeit,
	O what needless pain we bear,
	all because we do not carry
	everything to God in prayer.

2.	Have we trials and temptations?
	Is there trouble anywhere?
	We should never be discouraged;
	take it to the Lord in prayer.
	Can we find a friend so faithful
	who will all our sorrows share?
	Jesus knows our every weakness;
	take it to the Lord in prayer.

3.	Are we weak and heavy laden,
	cumbered with a load of care?
	Precious Savior, still our refuge;
	take it to the Lord in prayer.
	Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
	Take it to the Lord in prayer!
	In his arms he'll take and shield thee;
	thou wilt find a solace there.
