1 November, All Saints Day The Holy Gospel according to Matthew (5: 1 -12) When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up the mountain, and after he had sat down, his disciples came to him. He began to teach them, saying: "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute youand utter every kind of evil against you falsely because of me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven." The Gospel of the Lord. Yesterday was All Saints Day and I went for 6pm mass with my family. So what about saints? They are God's people who are in heaven now. Can we ever become saints? I think we can, though it would be very difficult. Hey, nobody said it was easy. Not in a corrupted world like this. But we can still try, no? So let's keep asking for the intercession of our Blessed Mother and all the Saints, that we will always do God's will. Inorganic Chemistry was quite okay. I managed to do most of them, though I think I lost a lot of marks. I didn't study the Contact Process at all. Damn. And I stayed up till 1.30 Am to study ah. Rats!! I came back at 12 noon, slacked, ate lunch at 2pm. Went to sleep, then went for mass at 6pm. Yesterday very slack, later must wake up earlier to do my maths. Wah lao eh, wednesday is maths, and I don't know shit about maths. But for the grace of God, here goes nothing..
